A look into MOTTEPHOBIA

A personal project of mine. Concerning a young man named Spruce, and the dark interloper that has deduced Spruce's biggest fear!

This movie is going to be 90% hand-animated, but here is the 10% that is tween-based, that I am admittedly having far too much fun making.

I've also been making progress on the 3D model

I'm currently tackling the production from two directions: Above, I'm building a semi-low poly 3D model of Breka, that I should be able to readily animate and port to Unity or some other engine, depending on how that end of things goes.


And then, I'm still working on animating her in Flash. Though honestly, animating in flash is kind of tedious. Neither frame by frame nor tweening really feels right for this right now.

MOBiLE Chapter 1 - 01

Finished Page 1 of MOBiLE today.
I'm still not to fond of the name of the city I chose, since I based it off of the nickname given to Washington State. Another name was Westside City or even Crane City (based on Bellevue, which at the time had a ton of cranes popping out of everywhere). We'll see what name I'll choose, I'm pretty undecided yet.

Hector and Huego

No series is complete without burgles.
Though MOBiLE takes place in a future where technology is finally advancing, robots are being called in to do the dirty work of the police force and nurses are all programed. There is nothing like the sophistication of a classic robbery that this dynamic duo specialize in.

MOBiLE - the great scarfed girl

I suppose its my turn to update this sucker.

MOBiLE is meant to be a animated / comic project, somewhat of my brainchild I suppose. I'm still unsure about what way I want to take it, but its definitely looking like it'll be animated, with a web comic following it. I have a couple of refined comic boards and various blocked in pages. I do have about the first two chapters ready for boarding, which is good right?
